Prior to joining MCB, Gabriella worked in the U.S. Department of Transportation鈥檚 Office of the General Counsel, serving within the Office of Aviation Con颅sumer Protection. There, she investigated matters ranging from flight sched颅uling and baggage liability to civil rights and disability issues, and managed resulting enforcement cases. She also conducted legal research; analyzed intri颅cate regulatory matters; assisted with legislative rulemaking for aviation con颅sumer protection and civil rights regulations; and drafted negotiation agree颅ments between the federal government and private airlines.
Earlier in her career, Gabriella served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney鈥檚 Office 鈥揝pecial Victims Unit. Responsible for a workload which exceeded 100 cases, she conducted legal research; drafted pre-trial motions; interviewed witnesses; negotiated dispositions with oppos颅ing counsel; and litigated complex legal issues. Previous to this position, she served in roles as a student attorney and legal intern, garnering essential re颅search, draftsmanship, and advocacy experience.
Gabriella received her B.A. from Fairfield University in 2018, making Dean鈥檚 List and Dean鈥檚 List with Distinction. She furthered her education at Syracuse University, where she obtained both a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and a J.D. from the university鈥檚 College of Law in 2022.During law school, Gabriella excelled in ad颅vocacy, receiving the Order of the Barristers award and earning membership in the Travis Lewin Advocacy Honor Society (Moot Court): Trial Division. She is admitted to practice in New York.
