

Associate
Prior to joining MCB, Michael was an associate at a general litigation firm in the New York area. Areas of specialty included employment law, personal inju颅ry, real estate, and contracts. Specific responsibilities included drafting plead颅ings, motions, appellate briefs, and other legal documents; performing legal research; conducting depositions; trial work; and presenting oral arguments at both lower and appellate courts. Earlier in his career, Michael worked as a so颅licitor at a London based firm where he specialized in employment law. There, here presented claimants and defendants in employment litigation; participat颅ed in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal hearings; and advised both individuals and U.K. and international corporations on assorted employment issues that ranged from discrimination and wrongful termination to part timeworkers鈥 rights, parental leave, settlement negotiations, and inter颅national employment issues.
Michael received his B.A. with honors from Middlesex University Business School (London, U.K.) in 2000. He earned his Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School (London, U.K.) in 2009 with commendation, and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2010 for which he earned a Dis颅tinction. He completed his LL.M. at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2019, where he attained the Dean鈥檚 Merit Scholarship. He is admitted to prac颅tice in New York, as well as England and Wales.
